My favorite art performance moments? Friday night at the Raleigh Hotel, Klaus Biesenbach and Diana Picasso had quite an impressive lineup with Kalup Linzy singing his torch songs, Ryan McNamara acting his Bela Lugosi “zombie” dance and Terence Koh doing absolutely nothing.

A moment later, the artist Ryan McNamara surprised everyone by catapulting himself into the crowd and tossing his delicate form from one end of the room to the other, apparently in a trance. Eyes rolling back in his head, long fingers extended, he kept leaning to and fro in a riveting zombie dance, and finally ended up outside, his ghostly face pressed to the windows.
